The excitement of Penny Wars at South Side Elementary concluded on Friday with plenty of laughs and some pie-filled faces! Over the past two weeks, students gathered pennies and dollars to earn positive points for their house, while silver coins were used to sabotage other teams by adding negative points to their totals. Each house rallied to collect as many coins as possible, all with the ultimate goal of determining which house would get pied in the face. In the end, it was the Blue House staff members who were the lucky (or unlucky) ones to take the pies! A big thank you to all the students for their enthusiasm and participation in this fun event!
