East Noble High School Show Choir put on a tremendous show last night at their Homecoming Concert! The performances by Premiere Edition and Knight Rhythms were amazing, and they truly brought the energy. They have a lot to be proud of, and we would like to thank everyone involved; parents, staff, and especially the Show Choir students for putting on such a great show. All your hard work, time and dedication during those long practice nights and early mornings are truly inspiring. We wish you well as you near your last competitions and have the chance to head to State Finals!

It was smelling delicious inside the East Noble Transportation building for lunch today as they hosted the 2024 East Noble Transportation Chili Cook-Off! Ten delicious chilis were served and on display for many guest judges to vote and see who would come out on top. Two first place winners (the judges' choice and people's choice) would receive some beautiful aprons symbolizing their victory! It was a great turnout of various people across the district including some of the Kendallville Fire Department, Kendallville Police Department, School Board, Central Office, Transportation staff, and the mayor of Kendallville. For a chilly day today, it certainly was the perfect day for a nice bowl of chili.

To all Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, and Rome City Elementary parents: Preschool Round-Up is coming up and will be here before you know it! Thursday April 18th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm Avilla, North Side, and Rome City Elementary Schools will be ready to help transition your student from home to coming into school for the upcoming preschool year. This past Friday, the entire East Noble School Corporation (Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School and East Noble High School, as well as the Central Office and other departments), came together at the Middle School and had their Professional Development Day. Pursuing professional development opportunities are important for many reasons, and very beneficial for everyone in the school corporation. The demands of teaching are constantly evolving, but with these PD days, it keeps everyone up to date with the latest developments and trends in the teaching field. Before sessions began, author Dr. Pascal Losambe spoke to the corporation and gave them insightful knowledge on how to not only be a better leader to the students, but also how to be a better person. Throughout the day, there were "Ed Camps" taking place in certain parts of the school. In those camps, teachers, staff and others were able to attend various sessions to expand their skill set and set up their students for success. It was a very great way for the corporation to come together as a team.

This past Thursday evening, Rome City Elementary had their Family Winter STEM Night. Students and their families got to enjoy some fun winter activities that revolved around the STEM curriculum (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Some activities consisted of building snowball catapults, frozen castles, build the tallest snowman, and much more. It was a great night for the students to enjoy fun activities with their parents and staff members!

Last evening, East Noble Middle School hosted the finals for the Robotics League Night. Teams from North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, and East Noble Middle School battled it out, front and center in front of a great crowd. Congratulations to all the teams that made it to the finals. It was a great competition from start to finish. Congratulations to all the teams from all of our schools on a great league night season! You all put on a great show and displayed great teamwork, perseverance, and amazing robotic skills throughout the season. Also, a congratulations to the Middle School and North Side who will be having teams competing at State in Lucas Oil Stadium in March!
