Over the weekend, the East Noble High School Show Choir had an impressive performance at the Carroll Classic!
Seniors Addison Hampshire and Hannah Thomas were both recognized with Outstanding Performer awards for their exceptional talent, while sophomore Lydia McGuire took home the prestigious Grand Soloist Champion. Their hard work and dedication truly shined on stage, showcasing the incredible skill and passion within the group. Congratulations to these talented students and the entire East Noble Show Choir!
Premiere Edition would go on and place 3rd, and Knight Rhythms placed 4th.




Rome City Elementary School recently hosted a wonderful Parents Night Out event, where students had the chance to enjoy a fun-filled evening with their teachers and staff! The kids participated in games, activities, and bonding time with their school community, while parents were able to enjoy a well-deserved break. It was a great way to build connections between students and staff, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere for everyone. A big thank you to the school staff for making the night so special and memorable for all involved!








This past Friday, Avilla Elementary School hosted a fun-filled Cowboy Disco dance, bringing together students, teachers, and families for a night of music, and dancing! The event featured upbeat tunes, and plenty of cowboy hats and boots as everyone got into the western-themed disco groove. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to let loose, have fun, and show off their best dance moves while making lasting memories with friends and family. A big thank you to all the volunteers and staff who helped make this exciting event possible!

This week, we celebrate National School Counseling Week, recognizing the invaluable contributions of school counselors to the academic and emotional development of students. School counselors play a key role in fostering a positive school environment, providing guidance, and offering support for students' personal and academic growth. Their efforts help students overcome challenges, plan for the future, and develop essential life skills. Let’s take a moment to thank and appreciate the hard work of school counselors from Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School and East Noble High School who make a difference every day!


Last night, South Side Elementary hosted an exciting STEAM Night filled with hands-on activities and interactive displays! Students, parents, and teachers came together to explore the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through creative projects and experiments. It was an inspiring evening of learning and fun, highlighting the importance of curiosity and innovation. A big thank you to everyone who made the event a success!











This afternoon, the American Heart Association visited Wayne Center Elementary School to help kick off their exciting fundraiser! The event is a great opportunity to raise awareness about heart health while encouraging students to get active and support a great cause. With fun activities and prizes throughout the fundraiser, students are eager to make a difference and contribute to the mission of the American Heart Association.







This morning, Rome City Elementary kicked its fundraiser for the American Heart Association. A special spokesperson addressed the students, sharing inspiring stories of how the organization has impacted millions of lives across the United States. The fundraiser aims to raise awareness and support for heart health, encouraging students to get involved in making a difference. The school community is excited to contribute to such an important cause, helping to fund research and programs that support heart health and wellness nationwide.
4th grader Reed Hicks and 1st grader Anndee Haines, since birth have been battling various heart conditions and are heart survivors, but to us they are "Heart Heroes". The school and AHA surprised them with Heart Hero capes, various other gifts, and a special tribute video to show their fellow classmates the incredible journey they have been on since birth.









This past Friday evening, East Noble High School Jazz Band participated in the Dekalb Chicken Dinner at Dekalb Middle School in front of a packed audience and were adjudicated by three judges and given a clinic for their performances. The jazz bands' next contests will take place at PFW Jazz Fest on Feb 11th and Snider Jazz Fest on February 15th.

Congratulations to the East Noble High School Winter Guard who traveled to North Side High School in Fort Wayne this past Saturday and earned first place in their round of Regional A guards with their performance! The program this year is entitled "Shatter Me" and is led by color guard director Tori Skidgel!

A huge shoutout to East Noble High School senior Hannah Thomas for being named "Outstanding Performer" for Premiere Edition.
Two juniors shined as well. Emma White received 2nd runner up for her solo competition, and Ella Walter receiving "Outstanding Performer" for Knight Rhythms and 3rd runner up for solo competition!






On Friday evening, Avilla Elementary School's Talent Show was a huge success, thanks to the amazing efforts of the students and the support of the Avilla PTO. The evening was filled with fantastic performances, showcasing the incredible talents of the students—from singing and dancing to acting and more! It was a fun and inspiring event that highlighted the hard work and creativity of everyone involved. A big thank you to the Avilla PTO for making it all possible!











Today, South Side Elementary kicked off House Day assembly with an exciting announcement—the start of their upcoming Food Drive! Students were introduced to their assigned food items and given two weeks (February 3rd through the 12th) to collect donations for a local food pantry. The house that gathers the most items will win a special prize. It's a great opportunity for students to show their community spirit and make a positive impact!








Today, Wayne Center Elementary School celebrated House Day, a special tradition that brought excitement and unity to the school! Assistant Superintendent Dr. Grewe joined in the festivities, participating in the event and being placed into one of the four houses. It was also a warm welcome for new staff and students, who were introduced to the House system and placed into their respective teams. House Day is a wonderful way to build school spirit and foster a sense of belonging among everyone at Wayne Center!










January is School Board Appreciation Month, and we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of the East Noble School Board. Their hard work, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our students and community make a lasting impact every day. The East Noble School Corporation Ambassador Program had their first meeting at East Noble High School this morning, and their focus was on Food Services. Food Service Director Roger Urick provided an insightful look behind the scenes of school food services. He led an engaging discussion, sharing details about the daily operations and challenges of feeding students. From meal planning to inventory management, to Summer Meal Programs, and more. Urick gave a deeper understanding of the hard work that goes into ensuring students have nutritious and balanced meals. It was a great opportunity for the ambassadors to learn more about the critical role food services play in supporting student success all throughout Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School and East Noble High School!






It was Election Day for the 8th graders today at East Noble Middle School! The Language Arts classes in 8th grade volunteered to help run polling stations for their fellow students. This hands-on experience gave them a unique chance to understand the voting process while supporting their peers. It was an exciting and educational day as they actively participated in the school’s mock election! After the votes were tallied, we would like to congratulate Mckinlee Scher on being voted Class President!











Yesterday afternoon, East Noble Middle School hosted an exciting event as Social Studies and Language Arts teachers, along with all 8th graders, gathered in the cafeteria for the much-anticipated Presidential Debate. Social Studies teachers moderated the debate, where candidates had the chance to present their platforms, answer questions, and showcase their leadership skills.
The event was a great opportunity for students to experience the presidential debate process in action, learning the importance of public speaking, civic engagement, and critical thinking. It was an afternoon full of energy, learning, and spirited discussions as the 8th graders took center stage!
