Happy Principal Appreciation Day!
Great schools wouldn’t be what they are without great principals. The work of a principal comes in just behind great teachers when it comes to ensuring student success and achievement. But like many roles in education, principals often don’t get enough credit for all the work they do in a day.
Principal Appreciation Day recognizes the hard work that principals do each year as they work to keep the school progressing from year to year. So here is to our amazing principals from Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School, and East Noble High School!

STATE BOUND!
Three students from East Noble High School will be competing in the Midwest Welding Tournament in Indianapolis this upcoming Friday, May 3rd! They will be traveling there with their instructors to compete against various other schools across the state who are also in IMPACT Welding. The three grades sang various songs that had a beach theme to it and some dancing to go along with it. The students did a great job from start to finish and made the night a memorable one for family and friends who were in attendance.

Last evening, Avilla Elementary School had their National Elementary Honor Society induction. It was a special night for some 3rd and 4th grade students as they were inducted into a special group. They were pledged in by current and outgoing Avilla Honor students, and signed their names into Avilla's Honor Society book, a book that holds the names of many past Avilla Panthers. Current honor students also got up and spoke to the audience, and the new inductees, and spoke about the four important pillars in honor society. Guest speaker Amrie Trappe, an East Noble High School senior and Avilla Elementary alum, spoke to the students on what it means to be an honor student.
