
This morning, Roger Urick, the Food Service Director at East Noble, continued National School Breakfast Week by serving up delicious blueberry pancakes at Wayne Center Elementary School. As part of this year’s theme, "Clue In To School Breakfast," Urick and his food service staff members are helping to highlight the importance of a nutritious start to the day for students. The tasty breakfast treat set the tone for a week focused on promoting healthy, balanced meals in schools and encouraging students to fuel their minds for a successful day of learning!







We are excited to announce that Kimberly Luke Scherer, currently serving as the Special Education Instructional Coach at East Noble School Corporation, has been approved as our new Special Education Director! Kimberly will officially begin her new role on July 1st, where she will oversee all of our special education programming throughout Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School and East Noble High School. We are thrilled to have her step into this important leadership role and look forward to the continued growth and success of our special education initiatives under her direction. Congratulations, Kimberly!


This past Saturday, the East Noble High School Show Choir had an impressive showing at the Mooresville competition! Premiere Edition took home the Grand Champion title, while Knight Rhythms secured an outstanding 3rd place finish.
Individual achievements were also celebrated, with Junior McKenzy Tarr being named Outstanding Performer for Premiere Edition, and Sophomore Ian Burkhart earning Outstanding Performer honors for Knight Rhythms. Additionally, Junior Emma White shined in the Solo Competition, finishing in 2nd place. Congratulations to all the talented students for their hard work and dedication!






Yesterday, Wayne Center Elementary School hosted an exciting Elementary School VEX Robotics Competition, bringing together schools from across Northern Indiana as well students from Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, South Side Elementary and Wayne Center Elementary School. Teams of young innovators competed in thrilling robotics challenges, demonstrating their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. A big congratulations to all the teams for their hard work and dedication, and for making this event a success!










Today was a great day at East Noble High School.
Last week, East Noble High School Unified PE class came together to support two of amazing ENHS Unified alumni, Destiny and Natalie, who are currently living in group homes. Through a fun and creative fundraiser, they were able to raise over $750 in just FOUR days!
All the money collected will go directly to Destiny, Natalie, and their roommates for supplies, games, and much more, making a real difference in their lives. But that’s not all—teachers and staff were chosen by students to get pied in the face through donations.
A huge thank you to our generous students, teachers, and staff for making this fundraiser so successful. The kindness and support is truly amazing!











A fantastic time was had at Wayne Center Elementary School’s dance this past Friday! The students had a blast dancing the night away, showing off their moves and enjoying the fun atmosphere. A big thank you to all the teachers, staff, and volunteers who helped make this event so special.










North Side Elementary hosted a fun and energetic dance this past Friday, bringing together students for an evening of music, laughter, and dancing. The event was a huge hit, with kids showing off their best dance moves and enjoying time with friends. Thanks to all the teachers and volunteers who made the event possible—everyone had a fantastic time!











Mrs. Prater's Principles of Bio Medical students at East Noble High School have made great accomplishments in their PLTW class this trimester. All students have completed their CPR and First Aid training. Haley Arnold from the Cole Center YMCA came over and tested the students on the skills portion to achieve their certifications. Nurse Jessica James also came in and gave a training about how to apply pressure in a training called “Stop the Bleed”. Students learned how to pack a deeper wound and how to apply a tourniquet.





Last evening, the Elementary School Robotics League Finals brought together teams from Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary and Wayne Center Elementary School for an exciting and competitive event! The students showcased their hard work and creativity. We couldn’t be more proud of all the participants and their dedication. Various awards were given to recognize outstanding performances across different categories. A congratulations to North Side and Rome City, whose teams earned spots at the State competition!











Today marked the exciting conclusion of South Side Elementary's two-week Food Drive, where students generously donated to a local food pantry. Four houses within the school competed to see who could bring in the most donations, and the Red House came out on top! As a reward for their efforts, the Red House students enjoyed a fun afternoon of games, and together, they helped pack up the collected donations. A huge thank you to all the students and families for their kindness and support in making this drive a success! In the end, the whole school was able to collect 2,098 items in the donations!











On February 8th, several staff members and students from East Noble Middle School & East Noble High School braved the chilly waters for a good cause and participated in the Polar Plunge at Metea Park in Fort Wayne! This event, which raised money for the Special Olympics of Indiana, saw the community come together in the spirit of giving and fun. Despite the freezing temperatures, the enthusiasm and support from everyone involved made for a memorable experience. Congratulations to all those who took the plunge and showed their school spirit and commitment to supporting a great cause!





The East Noble High School Jazz Band had a great showing at the Snider Jazz Festival this past weekend! They delivered an impressive performance, showcasing their talent and dedication to the craft. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to compete and grow as musicians, and they certainly made their mark at the festival!
The Winter Guard also had an outstanding performance this past Saturday at Carroll High School as well, earning 5 points and securing 6th place overall! Their dedication and hard work truly paid off, and they demonstrated incredible skill and teamwork on the floor.





The East Noble High School Show Choir had a fantastic performance at the DeKalb Choir Festival this past Saturday! Premiere Edition earned 3rd place and proudly received the People's Choice Award, a testament to their hard work and dedication. Meanwhile, Knight Rhythms advanced and secured 4th place in the night show, where mixed groups were able to perform. It was an impressive showing for both groups, and their achievements continue to highlight the talent and spirit of East Noble show choir program! Their next competition is at Mooresville Saturday, March 1st!



While the season may not have ended exactly how we hoped, we’re incredibly proud of the East Noble High School Girls Basketball team for their amazing accomplishments! Capturing a Sectional title for the first time since 2016 is a huge achievement, and it’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that these athletes have put in all season long. Thank you for making us proud and showing the true spirit of East Noble!


Today, the entire East Noble School Corporation came together for a dynamic Professional Development day at the Middle School. Staff members from across Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School and East Noble High School participated in a variety of workshops and collaborative sessions, focused on enhancing teaching strategies, fostering innovation, and building stronger connections within the community. This day was a great opportunity for staff to share ideas, gain new insights, and refine their skills to better support students and their learning journeys. It was a day of growth, teamwork, and commitment to excellence in education.











National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day will be this Saturday, February 15th, and we want to extend an early heartfelt thanks to the incredible School Resource Officers (SROs) of East Noble School Corporation. Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the safety and well-being of our students and staff at Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary, Wayne Center Elementary School, East Noble Middle School, and East Noble High School does not go unnoticed. You are more than just officers — you are role models, mentors, and essential members of our school community. The Community Learning Center is proudly hosting the East Noble Art Show, showcasing the incredible creativity of students from Avilla Elementary School, North Side Elementary, Rome City Elementary, South Side Elementary and Wayne Center Elementary School. The exhibition features a wide range of artwork created by students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. The art teachers from each school have submitted pieces that will make their way down to The FAME Festival in Fort Wayne! We would like to thank the CLC, Donna Mossburg and other retired EN teachers for making this possible.
The artwork will be on display now through Sunday, February 16th, so be sure to stop by and enjoy this inspiring collection of student masterpieces!
