Have a great spring break!

A small number of our Red Ticket recipients this week. Last count there were over 200 red tickets so far this week!

Krista Layman, Executive Director at Kate's Kart, was our special guest during Panther Pride today. Krista shared her gratitude for the amazing school and community outpouring of donations that took place during our Valentine dance in February. We raised just over $1,000 for this incredible organization. Some of our students were chosen at random to help present the check seen in the picture. If you want more information about what they do, and where this money went, please check out their website here: https://kateskart.org/

Congratulations to our newest members of National Elementary Honor Society. They have fantastic student mentors that are existing members along with two amazing adults, Mrs Amstutz and Mrs Garl.

Congratulations to our Avilla Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Erin Garl. Her colleagues voted for her and it's fun to celebrate her continued effort to spread love and learning around our school. Erin is a wife and mother of three, co-leads our National Elementary Honor Society, and is just plain nice to everyone. Thank you for being you, Mrs. Garl. You deserve to be celebrated, and we're lucky to call you a friend and colleague.
