It's Riley Week at ENHS! What does that mean?
“When a child is diagnosed with a medical condition, it can be confusing and scary. The experts at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health have provided compassionate care, support and comfort to children and their families for more than 85 years. As one of the nation's leading pediatric hospitals and Indiana's first and only comprehensive hospital dedicated exclusively to the care of children, they treat more than 300,000 patients each year, across Indiana, the nation and the world” (Riley Hospital website).
East Noble Student Council and student body have been helping this cause for over 20 years through a weeklong fundraising event.
This year we have done minute buckets at a football and a basketball game. We are asking for business donations. If any business would like to donate, please contact Carissa Prater or Brenda Arnett at ENHS. We are having a wear Red for Riley Wednesday March 15th.
We will also be doing the always fun Penny Wars between classes.
One of the best things we do is Riley Wagon March 13-17th. Student Council will be bringing carts full of drinks and foods for students and staff to purchase. Every cent of profit goes straight to Riley Children’s Hospital. The more you buy, the more we all can donate! Save your quarters and dollars and be prepared to indulge in yummies all week!
