Unsung Hero

High Fives!

There are many people that make East Noble High School a wonderful place to learn, grow and work. One of those special people is located in the APC at the high school. Jenni Ritchie has many roles to play at ENHS. Her main duty is to track attendance and communicate with students and families associated with the numerous types of absences. This East Noble High School alumnus treats all of our East Noble families with a friendly, understanding voice when they call the attendance line or when they visit in person. While these are her professional responsibilities at ENHS, Jenni goes above and beyond when she speaks and relates with students. Because of her bubbly personality and contagious laugh, she is a “trusted adult” for many students at ENHS. When ENHS began its Sources of Strength program, students were asked to let the adults in their life know who they felt comfortable speaking with. That week, Jenni’s computer was littered with notes from students stating that she was always there for them in their time of need. Jenni also works closely with teachers and administrators communicating various pieces of important information in a timely manner. The next time you are in the high school and walk through the office area, you will see fresh paint and updated decorations on the walls. Jenni was motivated to “spruce up” the APC and took it upon herself to paint and update the space. It is for these reasons, and many that are not mentioned here, that we offer a HIGH FIVE for Jenni Ritchie!
