 “High Five”

High Fives!

Mary Casselman, Deputy Treasurer, East Noble School Corporation, was hired June 1, 1990. For 28.5 years, Mary has exemplified the characteristics of an outstanding deputy treasure. Mary is dedicated, methodical, impartial, and trustworthy. Her quiet and meticulous nature brings a sense of calm to a very busy central office; she can always be counted on to either know the answers to financial questions or find the answers when called upon. Her history and experience as deputy treasurer has been invaluable to the operations of the district and her adaptability and foresight has brought success to East Noble’s vision.

Mary’s work at the central office on a daily basis provides the foundation and framework that propels the financial operations of the district from year to year. She works tirelessly; it’s not uncommon to find Mary quietly working on evenings or weekends while surrounded by her very organized stacks of paper! Mary is not often seen by most employees in the district but her ability to manage public school accounting and navigate the financial accountability rules of the state and federal government effects every aspect of each employee and student; every purchase and payment is accounted for by Mary.

Mary balances the demands of her professional life by spending time with her husband, her two children, and her granddaughter. Her family enjoys trips to Florida each year and she can be found almost every Saturday at the mall shopping with her mother.
